After 15 plus years of retirement from road racing I got a chance to throw a leg over a KTM/RC8R. A bike with way more horsepower than any bike I ever raced, on a track Ive never been on, I was a little nervous. My old leathers were..well lets just say..tight. Then it only took a few sessions on track for 3 of my friends to crash out. Two of them crashed together at the end of the front straight well over 100 mph just in front of me. I was thinking this is nuts and considered calling it a day, but I stuck with it and went back out for more and by the end of the day turned in some respectable laps. I would like to thank MCC for giving me the opportunity and sponsoring the event. And David Kane/Shark Helmets/I-Saw Action Cameras for the support. The helmet is Amazing and the I-Saw camera worked flawlessly. Cant wait till next year !!
