After 16 years of not playing the piano, I am amazed that it took me just a couple of hours to play a sonatina just like before. I am still able to sight read. My skills are quickly coming back and it seems I am even learning at a faster pace. I did not expect this. I can only conclude that it is by the Grace of God that my gifts have been preserved, as if to wait for this day when I understand more clearly why I have them.
