After 2 years, my time as a teacher and coach at the Ateneo De Manila High School finally comes to an end. It’s a bittersweet feeling, leaving my alma mater the second time around. Much like my time as a student in the AHS, my return as a member of the faculty taught me so much and gave me so many memorable experiences I will treasure forever. I will miss walking down the EDSA corridor, passing through the covered courts, and hanging out in the cafeteria, while taking in the various sights and sounds only the AHS can offer. I am eternally grateful for having been given the chance to make even the slightest difference in the lives of all of my students, because in their own little way, they’ve also made a difference in my own life. Thanks to the PE Subject Area, for teaching me all of the different tricks of the trade, as well as various life lessons. Thanks to the AHS Faculty and Staff for making my first job a truly memorable and fulfilling experience. Thanks to Zoel, Erika, Marlon, Maika, Jaila, Gyobs, Lao, Marvin, Carlo, and Andrew. I couldn’t have survived this year without you guys. Seriously. Alam niyo na yan hahaha Thanks to the 3 varsity teams I was able to be a part of as an assistant coach: PAYA ’12-13, PAYA ’13-14, and MyBall B ’13-14. I learned so much from every win and every loss we had together. I hope you guys don’t forget about me when you become famous! In line with that, a very special thank you to Coach Manuel Jose Iv Pilares-jm and Coach Reggie Aromin! Thank you for believing in me and trusting me as your assistant coach. I am forever indebted to both of you for the opportunities you gave me to pursue my dream of coaching basketball. Last, but definitely not least, to the class of L2014, THANK YOU! There are no words to describe how much I appreciate everything we’ve been through this past year. Thank you for the blessings of your enthusiasm, passion, wisdom, humor, loyalty, and friendship. You really don’t know how much all of you mean to me. Walang kalimutan, L2014! Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam! ONE BIG FIGHT!
