After 20 long years ,when this friend,left Hyderabad,for work ,to Bombay ,i was shocked!Leaving such a huge Telugu Industry?And he was one of the few good contemporary director friends i had.(i have seen any number of directors on the sets)His technique was more internalized,compared to my externalized ways.I was the industry kind,and he the institute variety. Mise-en- scene is staging of story,whatever you are and the way you choose. Mise-en-scene is not one shot,it could be just one frame.After 20 years in Hyderabad,this dear filmmaker friend was taking the Mumbai train. Going,going,gone.Today,he teaches at the FTII,the direction lessons.As part of his huge assignment he has made a film.An independent film ,as independent as it could get. As Kamalji said,it is another Diploma.
