After 4 years of college baseball I have learned the following: - I am not a power hitter - Hotels are not as fun as they were when I was 10 - I still dont like flying - Bus rides to Vermont are the worst - Vermont sucks - Baseball is just a game regardless of the level - Being a part of something bigger than yourself is humbling - WHAT you are doing is not as important as WHO you do it with I have at least 60 brothers that I have stood side by side with. Through thick and thin. Through the pain, sweat, blood, and tears. Through all of the late nights and early mornings that I dreaded, but would do anything to have back. Through the championships and defeats. Through the blowout losses and the blowout wins. I cannot describe how humbling the experience of being voted, and serving as your captain for two years really was, and although I carried that title, there were many others who led without the recognition they deserved. To the youngsters, I hope you all have learned from me a fraction of what I learned from you. I love every single one of my current, and former teammates who made this college experience the best experience of my life. I will carry the memories from these four years with me for the rest of my life. Lastly, to my parents... Rebecca R. Sinclair Jim Mcinnis I love you with all of my heart. I would have never had this experience if it was not for you. Emotionally, physically, and monetarily, you guys have done everything in your power to make sure I could do what I loved to do. Whether it was buying me my first glove, carting my butt from Presque Isle to New Jersey, or flying to Florida just to watch me play, you guys were always there. You gave me support when I was down, and motivation when I was up. I have the best parents in the world, I love you. P.S. Vermont is beautiful. P.P.S. Maddie Langley is THE best girlfriend I could ask for. I love you.
