After 60 enduring years in showbusiness, Joan Collins has been made a Dame in the New Years Honours list. The Daily Mail reported that the Dynasty diva was in a celebratory mood as she headed out for dinner with her husband Percy Gibson on Tuesday evening, the night the full list was revealed. The star said she was thrilled and truly grateful to be the proud recipient of the honour. It comes after she was made an OBE in 1997. Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, she wrote: Tonights the night! And Dame Joan certainly looked the part as she left her London home to mark the grand occasion. The 81-year-old defied her years as she stepped out in a black dress and fur-trimmed coat, with her hair piled up on top of her head.
