After 66 days of travelling in New Zealand, my journey has finally come to an end yesterday. During this past period, I have made a lot of good friends and I believe that we will have the opportunities to meet each other again in the future! Some have taught me valuable life lessons and some have helped made me a better person in one way or another. In life, we will often have different challenges, ups and downs as well as things that will attempt to drive us mad. What makes the difference is how we view and respond to it. The same event can both be positive or negative depending on how you choose to react to it. For those people I like, I take them as a model for how I want to be. For those that I dont, I learn how not to behave like they did. Ive met very young couples (Simon Wagner and Lina Buġeja) whom at the age of 19 have already been away from home to work overseas and explore the world for almost a year. That could be a lesson that alot of us in Singapore for us to learn that not everything is impossible/difficult, for as long as you are willing to take that first step forward, we can overcome them! This journey in NZ is only a small part of my lifelong journey we call LIFE. We will all eventually die one day, but how many of us have truly lived? Some of you might have heard me mentioning before Do something not because it is easy, but because it is difficult. or If you fear something, then all the more you should face your fear and confront it. My dear friends, the times I have spent with you over tea/meals/drinks, walks/hikes, bus/car journeys, sunrise/sunsets has been incredible. Know that You have influenced my life in one way or another, whether you intended for it or not. And now for the part whereby I shall tag almost everyone whom I have added on my Facebook during this trip. It has been my pleasure meeting you, be it a few minutes, or a few days or a few trips shared together, I Thank You for making my journey in New Zealand a great experience!
