After 9 years, Colleen and I are now officially “From LA LA Land”. We pull into an almost empty parking lot a few days ago, Colleen is driving. We stop at the left or right turn part and there’s a guy standing in an open space, he looks up into the sun, loses his balance and crashes to the pavement, shoulder and forehead first. Struggles to get to his feet, grabs his sunglasses off the ground and starts to walk away. Colleen and I don’t say a word for the whole 15 seconds, we just sit there watching. As he’s walking away, I say “Park on the other side (of the lot)”. Nothing surprises us anymore....lol
