After BDS ... Aviation Industry - TopicsExpress

After BDS ... Aviation Industry ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• A couple of days back, I asked a question if AFTER BDS , AVIATION INDUSTRY ( Air Hostess, Air Technical Marshall etc. with salary around 70,000 to 1 Lakh) or OFFICIAL CLERICAL POST IN ARMY ( salary 70,000 ) can be a good TEMPORARY option as for these courses graduation in enough and they provide salary too. But there were few extreme comments calling it heights and shameful and inferior for dental students. To that I had this reply •••••••••••••••••••••••••••• First of all ... The fact about being a doctor is having understanding ... The understanding that none of the jobs are inferior compared to what u do. That thinking itself defeats the purpose having a medical education and shows a feudal mind. For every successful BDS guy there are 10 BDS students struggling. Not because of lack of talent or interest but because of many other issues. Few people commented its heights . Actually heights is when a BDS graduate in Bangalore colleges works for 3000 rupees per month. That salary is less than what a vendor seeking good quality food earns . And by the way a good selling vendor earns avg 15 000 rs per month. So all the people taking that superior ground ... Work for rupees 3000 in a college after BDS ... And then u will get the reality check. I personally know people ( dentists ) who went in to aviation industry ... Made some much needed money ... Traveled the world and with enough cash arranged ... Started their practice. So rather than calling ur profession superior and calling other works inferior ... Understand the financial conditions. You might be having lot if money to do MDS and start practice but not every BDS pass out has that kind of money. I know dental graduates who made their own money joining aviation industry and with that money did their pg. So this is just an option and it might be helpful for some one . Just because u feel in ur mind that u are superior OR may be u r not in need of money ... Doesnt change the fact that money from this option can help many dental graduates. What do you feel abt it ... If u have an opinion then do comment ... •••••••• Deb ••••••
