After Black Friday and Cyber Monday, is the most important day of all of them... Today is #givingtuesday! The day to remember to give what you can to those who are truly struggling, compared to how incredibly lucky most of us are in this life. My life definitely could not be described as smooth sailing, but compared to the majority on this earth, my life has been a cake walk (what does that mean, anyways?)... My dream: we can all make a huge difference in the lives of others if every individual would was able to, gave just from $1 - $100 on this day (depending on what they could afford). Individuals, like you and me, really can change the world :) Our Mission at Whistler Naturals Skin Care Ltd.: To support womens causes around the world to help provide safe reproductive health for every woman/girl, education, and financial stability. We firmly believe that it is through the mothers and grandmothers of the future generations that will change the world for the better. A woman who is not tied down from the lack of education, having been wed too young, and has financial independence and stability for herself and her children, and not having a baby every year, with a real fear that she may not survive childbirth, is a woman who can make her own decisions, teach her children to be strong, compassionate, educated, and independent. Whistler Naturals is an givingtuesday.ca partner and we also purchase gifts of education (todays donation was education for girls), micro business, animals, maternal & child health & nutrition, clean water, etc.. for women and girls around the world with Worldvision.ca. In addition, we support Kiva through microlending to women in business. Another group that we absolutely LOVE and support is Mission Possible (mission-possible.ca), which is a group that helps homeless individuals in Vancouver to find homes and employment.
