After DISCO FRIDAY last night in the rainy city with Dj Harvey & Daniel Wang both spinning in Manchester, I left with that 4/4 kick and upbeat hats still in my pockets. Harvey was still way too Euro for me, not enough Funk/Soul in his Disco/House set but the party had a great crowd and a great atmosphere. Daniel played lots of slightly more camp Disco and got on the mic is in unique way, again a lovely atmospshere in the club but not enough stink in the grooves for me. Harvey played one bomb, which is what Disco should be, groovey as hell, joyous and dancefloor friendly ! Ill hopefully give u some of my interpretation of House / Disco Community & So Flute Present- Motor City Drum Ensemble (M.C.D.E) for sure. Heres to only the classic bomb I heard during the 3 hours that I listened and my jam of last night ! Have a good weekend world. :)
