After I gave up, I went into the army. No one in my life, I got stationed in FT. Sill Oklahoma. I got invited to my aunts house and right at the last minute, a couple of army buddies said, do u want to go to a festival? I didnt even know what that was. Long story short, I went to the Texas International Pop Festival. Unless u were there u wouldnt have a clue how cool that was. Friday at 6pm Janis Joplin started the evening off, and at 11, I did a hit of blotter and I was hanging on to my blanket thinking I was falling off the edge of the world. Zep came on, they only had this album out for 2 months in america and I swear Robert was singing to me.
