This told me several things: My 80 year old mother with Dementia- short term memory loss has learned to use a smart phone some now. She knows which adaptor to use to recharge it. Her phone bill is paid. Her electric is on. Her cheerful voice assured me that even though I struggle, she is alive and okay. Kinda like the lines in the Star Spangled Banner: And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. Makes it all worth it in my book.
