After Lee Scotts appearance on channel 4 show Deal or No Deal, girlfriend Jesika decided to host a viewing party of his game at the local football club in Ashington. They decided to turn the event into a charity fundraiser and found out about the fantastic services that Chin Up provides to families in the North East area. After reading about the charitys brilliant work online and discovering that two Ashington legends, Bobby and Jackie Charlton, were patrons, it was a no brainer that the donations from the fundraiser would go straight to Chin Up! The charity night was a great success and the pair managed to raise £300.40 in online donations and on the night. In addition, Iain Morrison, the owner of Newgate Dental Solutions in Morpeth, kindly donated £500 worth of facial aesthetic and teeth whitening treatments to the highest bidder in an online bidding war. This thoughtful gesture raised £300 for Chin Up. All in all the charity fundraiser and the online auction raised £600.40 for the charity.
