After School Book Club returns to the Young Readers Room! Sign up now for the new After School Book Club. The first of four sessions (quarterly) begins January 20, 2015. This first session of the After School Book Club, 2015 is for 2nd - 5th graders. Only 10 spots are available, so sign up now to be part of the fun! Books are provided by the Young Readers Room. Parents need to be on the grounds of the A.K. Smiley Public Library, but not necessarily in the Young Readers Room Story Corner. The children must commit to three Tuesday afternoon sessions: January 20, 2015 January 27, 2015 February 3, 2015 Each session will begin at 3:45 pm and end at 4:30 pm. The group will read, discuss and enjoy snacks for the three-week sessions. The first book is Bad Kitty School Daze Bad Kitty faces her toughest challenge yet, in Bad Kitty School Daze from Nick Bruel. Kitty and Puppy are out of control! Theyre screaming, fighting, hissing, and drooling all over the house, and all of the commotion is upsetting Baby. Time for school—obedience school, that is.
