After Tennessees ill-fated loss today to Florida, Im beginning to - TopicsExpress

After Tennessees ill-fated loss today to Florida, Im beginning to think there is a fundamental mojo problem at UT. It might be bad mojo left over from firing Phil Fulmer a few years ago. But UT has got some serious mojo issues. So, I will be pondering various theories on mojo-working, as in I got my mojo workin (of blues fame) in order to help the hapless Volunteers back to their winning ways. One piece of early research has suggested human sacrifice. But its very unclear who should be sacrificed and in what manner. This is apparently extremely important in mojo restoration efforts. UT has been trying to restore its mojo through bringing in former quarterbacks to stand on the sideline. Last week it was Peyton Manning and this week it was Heath Shuler, but its apparently more important that the quarterback actually play in the game. Of course, its not so bad. Unlike Clemson, UT has not had an entire verb named for how they are able to lose otherwise winnable games (as in Clemsoning), though they have Clemsoned their last two games. If this keeps up, I will have to go out and buy a UT ball cap, something I have resisted for 25 years.
