After a big run of Tree Snake relocations this afternoon, this little Keelback was a nice change. The Keelback (Tropidonophis mairii) aka Freshwater Snake, is a species of harmless snake that, because of its brown colouration, is confused with a Brown Snake (Pseudonaja textilis). The awesome thing about this snake is they can and do eat Cane Toads with little ill effect. The worst thing this snake can do is leave some horrible stink on you. As always, if you need a snake identified or relocated, contact me on 0401 365 396 - Grant
