After a bit of a dramatic Kangaroo rescue on the Western Ring Rd near Lalor tonight, Im glad to be getting to bed. Many thanks to VicRoads and Victoria Police for controlling the traffic while my wife and I caught the injured but mobile Kangaroo. Also a big thanks to the patience of the motorists who got held up for a little while and to Hayley for calling us out and waiting with the roo. Sadly, with half of her skull smashed and an eye destroyed, the young female Kangaroo had to be euthanized. As its been so quiet for snake calls, Im having withdrawals. So tomorrow Im going to take the camera out and see how many different species I can find to photograph. Hopefully Ill have a few decent pics to share with you all. Good night all. Steve.
