After a certain age, which no one has ever specifically defined - TopicsExpress

After a certain age, which no one has ever specifically defined for me, people start just inventing ages on their birthdays? Like, youre turning a certain age, but you tell everyone its 29 (seems like a popular choice; Ive been caught believing people a couple times and made things awkward for myself). Bilbo Baggins had the right idea: invent your own number, and have a huge party! If people just said they were turning Eleventy-Seven I would at least know it was code for Im having a birthday, and how many others I have had will not be disclosed to you. Also, you cant be turning mid-thirties or middle-aged. That is not a number. If you read this thinking, She just turned 23. Am I going to be invited to an Eleventy-Seventh birthday party next year? the answer is a resounding yes.
