After a day hanging out watching movies with Miranda on the couch its crazy to think that we are no longer in the hospital. Were no longer fighting tubes to sit beside her. Its so awesome to be home as a whole entire family, plus all of our adoptive people that we love so much. There isnt really ever a day that goes by that we dont have extras over...and thats the way we love it. Having everybody under one roof is amazing. Miranda is doing well. We are all adjusting to having her back home. Its a new way of life. Learning how to turn on the portable oxygen, keep the oxygen at the right levels, how to pick Miranda up so that she can stand and walk as much as she can to build up her muscles again...we are all learning and depending on one another. But, we wouldnt have it any other way. When Mir was in the hospital you really couldnt focus on the not being able to sit down and enjoy being a family part. Because you had no other choice. Now that were home it is crazy to think back on the 70 days that were spent in and out of the hospital. We developed a new family and a new way of living. Our hospital family. One that we will cherish forever. Our door is always open. We love that they are walking in to check on us and visit. Going to be a bond that will not be broken. 💜 We have always been a close family. Always helped each other out when it was needed. But, being in the hospital and not knowing what the next day held put a whole different outlook on life. Overlooking the past week at home really has intensified how much we love and depend on each other. Yes, we have a long road ahead. We dont know when things will be normal again. I can tell you one thing though...I cannot imagine doing it with anybody else but us. 💜
