After a few months of riding the train again, I need to vent: I realize that I am not an expert in the field of Mental health. Regardless of my field of expertise, I would argue that the two women that get on the train at Ivy Ridge and get off at Jefferson (old Market East) are wildly inappropriate, as they discuss patients daily. Today, they were mocking someone with Asperger Syndrome, someone who is suicidal (they said he should just do it), and they talked in length about someone with gender identity disorder. Somehow, they seem to find the car that I am in, as I frequently hear their ridicule. I always thought that these matters were to be kept confidential - not on full blast on the train. If I knew where they worked, I would make a call, because it is extremely offensive and disheartening. As of this evening, I will be taking the quiet ride car.
