After a full day panel discussion on various issues , the All India Chakma Convention was concluded with the formation of an organisation CHAKMA NATIONAL COUNCIL OF INDIA. The Council will be supported by various intellectuals and political representative of the Chakmas. An ad-hoc central executive committee was formed and Anirudda Chakma from Tripura was selected as the President, Larma Hemantalal Chakma as the General Secretary, Jagat Jyoti as the treasurer, Arunjit Chakma as communication secretary, Durjyo Dhan as Assistant Secy Prahlad Chakma as the Head of Arunachal state, Suryasen Chakma as the Head of Mzoram state, Santosh as the Head of Tripura state, Jagat santa as the Head of Assam state. Executive members are Niranjan, Kinomohan, Pandid Bihari and Somiral Chakma
