After a good weekend at Broadford for the final round of the Hartwell series on the 125. I won the George Carrick and 125 championships. We headed off to Phillip Island for the 3rd round of the Pirelli series. This weekend I was on the new Honda NSF 250R moto 3 bike. The weekend started with good weather and looked like it would be a good weekend. Saturday was straight into qualifying. It was only an 8 minute session so I knew I would need to be quick. I ended up 2nd which I was happy with a front row start. Race one was 4 laps for the sprint series I got a horrible start and was down in 7th place at turn one but got my way back up to 2nd by the end Race two was much the same. I just haven’t had the time on the moto3 to know how to get it off the line. But still managed to get back to 2nd by the fourth lap. And we went across the line with .5 between the top 3. Sunday started with another qualifying session and once again I was 2nd on the grid Race one got off to another bad start but got up to 2nd by the end. I had a real good battle with alessandro on his Ducati. i was happy that I did my fastest lap of the race on the 8th lap (last lap) of the race. I have now won the TT seris in the 125/250 class And have a 70 point lead in the sprint series with one round to go.
