After a hard days work and driving to vic, wake up at the crack of dawn and heading to Comosun, the instructor told me I cannot take the weld test without a written letter from an approved certified company, head to Nanaimo, reschedule my test, this time hopefully the VIU team will be qualified to test me, meeting with the owner of my company and thankfully I am able to take it on the 9 th of July. Why is it that I spend thousands of dollars to be a welder? Not counting time and education to be short listed? Kinda a catch 22.
