After a lengthy contest the Team Challenge of 2013 has come to an end. There were 72 participants at the start and only 16 of those participants had points deducted from their teams beginning score of 300. When you do the math, you realize that 56 drivers went through a 15 week period (75 days) without missing a day of work, missing a meeting, having an accident, having an incident, showed up in full uniform daily, and followed all company policies. E&R Towing sincerely wants to thank those 56 drivers for their outstanding efforts in this event. As you may know by now, all of our teams were led by our entire dispatch department on this challenge. I hope that the captains enjoyed the responsibilities, and camaraderie that was built during the event with their chosen teams. The score going into the last few days of the challenge was a tie between 2 teams with scores of 250 each. A random truck interior inspection was put into action to break the tie and the winning team was declared. TEAM CAPTAIN DAVE MIROWSKI helped earn his team the victory. Dave and his team will be rewarded in an awards ceremony at the Drivers meeting in August. Team members consisted of: FRED MITCHAM-JOHN JENNINGS-MARCUS McGEE-CHARLES RATCLIFF-TIM WARD- PAUL HANKERSON AND HARRY KAHN. Congrats guys and I hope you keep up all of the great work. Winners are not people who never fail---but people who never quit! Our team of drivers from our Plainfield site also held a challenge during those same 15 weeks. Jason Cavazos conducted an individual challenge for his 6 drivers. They began with 300 points and when the challenge had ended MICHAEL JENNINGS had emerged as the winner and will be rewarded for his efforts. Thanks Michael for setting the example of what can be accomplished when you have the desire to please and the integrity to do your job correctly each and every day.
