After a long 17 years, the House of Horror (4z)(as I nicknamed my high school class) were finally reunited for a friday night catch up in london, drinking champagne and cocktails, eating Kebabs ,copious amounts of Indian food and dip, and most of all, making enough memories to tide us over until the next meet-up. After spending nearly all of our time together over the four years of high school – supporting each other through the homework stresses and deadlines, cheering each other up over boy trouble, all those long detensions anscelebrating each other’s achievements. We’ve been through a hell of a lot together over the years and we’ve all come out of it stronger than ever... Boarding the Train from Manchester I was a bit nervous/anxious, A million things going on my head .... But before I knew I had arrived at the Euston station. Welcomed with warm hugs and kisses from my friends Hasina and Radhika....phew! I was so relieved, Nothing much had changed except the long span of time (17 years) hahaha. Our destination was a restaurant called Dhishoom, which was quite nice- served great Indian food!- To be honest, we could have been anywhere and I wouldn’t have noticed what was going on around us – we were all having so much fun dancing like loons, (them)drinking the posh wine and laughing, a lot! It was amazing to be surrounded by the most amazing friends, because they are all the type of people who I wish existed everywhere – none of them will ever put you down or say a bad word about you if they have your back. It was so nice to be surrounded by such supportive friends who were nothing but happy to hear everyone’s news and celebrate everything going on in their lives. It is rare to find a such a bunch of people (hahah) who honestly act this way, who don’t put each other down, and I am proud to have friends like these. I want to say a big Thank you to these crazy londoners :Dpz, Radhika,Navinder,Hasina and Div for organising such a fun packed adventure. And so in Just 12 hours , We managed I managed to explore all these very groovy places .............From Dhishoom to Rocket and to Heron tower, Nope it doesnt end here -----grab a taxi and off to Mahiki and ofcourse then a doggie kebab in Edgware Rd ...........OMG! hahahahah , Its just unreal hey! I Am really looking forward to the next meet-up and hopefully we won’t have long to wait XX
