After a rocky few months we are please to announce that things are finally on the up for GWA and I would like to thank each and everyone of the students, staff, fans and family and friends for all of your support. But lets not stop now. Keep telling your friends about (or even better bring them to) the shows and the training school. This week alone more than 40 different students have trained at the academy and on Thursday night we had 36 people all training at the same session. The atmosphere recently has been nothing short of amazing. More good news... On Friday 30th May GWA live will return with a show that will take place at The Warehouse - Grimsby. From this point forward the GWA live events will be a place for the students of GWA and the graduates and pros that train with the group to showcase their talents. We will no longer be bringing in guys from other academies and training schools to fill out the event. These events will be student shows. Graduates and pros that train with GWA will still feature on the events but only as guests to compliment the card, not to take away from the students. Students will be able to earn the opportunity to compete against pros and graduates and use the GWA live shows as a way to gain experience and eventually work their way up to becoming a pro themselves and eventually compete for Real Deal Wrestling. Tickets for this event are limited to 100 and they are available from The Warehouse (on Freeman Street), directly from Grimsby Wrestling Academy and subject to availability can be bought on the night. To celebrate the return of these events we will be selling tickets for just £1.00. JUST ONE POUND ADMISSION. RETURN SHOWS? Dont worry GWA live events will be back on a monthly basis and will take place at The Warehouse the last Friday of each and every month. Regular ticket prices (starting in June) will be £5.00 per person. JUNIOR DIVISION... In addition to our senior students we also teach children (age 7-12) and starting on May 30th we will be giving our juniors the chance to compete and be involved on our live events.
