After a tough but fulfilling work week, on the eve of a tough but - TopicsExpress

After a tough but fulfilling work week, on the eve of a tough but fulfilling spiritual weekend, I got out with our new Elder Afavala from San Diego (or was it L.A.?) and our stalwart Elder Nelson. I told the Elders that I know God lives. Any of us has only to believe the testimonies or witnesses that come from Him. I may carry stressors, but when I am with the Lords servants serving, during that time the stressors are gone. During that time I am whole. I feel like I do in the Temple, but outside. To be in the Light is the blessing and right of all those who choose to follow Gods will including folks like me who strive or desire so to do, and can only try. Elder Nelson read this, and again I felt it inside, that God talks to me through His word: And behold, I have come having great hopes and much desire that I should find ye had humbled yourselves before God, and that ye had continued in the supplicating of His Grace, that I should find that ye were blameless before Him… Alma 7:3 The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ And I knew what I need to strive for. And I knew that my question on Grace was answered more closely, that Grace comes by humbling myself to accept Gods will, no matter the personal cost, and by so doing God will enable me to abide by His law, wiping my errors away, leaving only wisdom and gratitude, and making me blameless before Him. Grace makes change possible, change substantive, structural and sincere. On to tomorrow: service, service, missionary work, temple, missionary work, rest, Church and the Gospel. A journey in two days.
