After about 2 weeks of owning a bicycle, I am so pleased with my investment! Mainly, I bought my bike to supplement local transportation needs, especially for the musical that Im involved in. I would bike back and forth to rehearsals/performances (about 7 miles one way) and occasionally get a ride home from some wonderful people! And today, I biked home from Anoka, MN (10.5 miles one way) without stopping and without feeling any sore muscles! In fact, the bike ride home was a scenic bike route as I was on the Mississippi River Trail... so it was next to the river, near Coon Rapids Dam, and was a paved road only for walking and riding (verses a sidewalk with uneven panels), so it didnt even feel like a long bike ride. If my medical doctors could see me now from last year, Im sure they would be proud of me!! If anything, Im proud of myself!! Theres just something about taking charge of any situation, using your own resources to get what you need, and doing whatever it takes to accomplish your task.
