After about a month of intense debating/waffling back and forth, Ive finally made up my mind to move to Asheville, NC (Crunch Capital, USA) circa early August. I havent lived away from home/off Long Island in two years, and havent lived outside of New York since 2009. As those of you who know me know, Im super-attached to my friends and loved ones, so this feels like a big, risky plunge into the [beautiful] unknown. Truth be told, Im as nervous as I am excited, but... Change happens when the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of change. I feel deep in my heart that its time to break away, move forward, and begin to plant roots somewhere that resonates more with who I am and the kind of life Id like to work towards cultivating. Goodbye, New York... hello, Blue Ridge Mountains! As for you, NY friends and fam: Lets make June and July *EPIC*! :)
