After achieving success in Bollywood on her own, even her family is reacting quite positively to her work today. My sister likes me in films like Queen, my brother likes me in science fiction space and my parents like to see me doing more conventional stuff like Rajjo etc, she said. Her upcoming films Queen, Rajjo and Revolver Rani seem to be women centric. In Queen she plays a naive girl from Delhi, she essays the role of a nautch girl in Rajjo and is a dacoit-cum-politician in Revolver Rani. All of us want to do things that satisfy us creatively... I feel lucky to be getting roles like these where I can display my talent. They all are great films and I am hoping everyone loves me in these films, Kangana said. The actress says she loves being experimental. I dont like to repeat myself. Like I said no to The Dirty Picture and then I did not do Ranjhaana as it was more into Tanu Weds Manu space. I am trying to avoid doing Tanu Weds Manu part two because I dont want to do it now, but after sometime, she said. I am playing a superwoman (in Krrish 3), a simple woman (Queen), a dacoit (Revolver Rani) all this gives me a different high, she said. Though Vidya Balan starrer The Dirty Picture became a superhit, Kangana does not regret refusing the film. No, I dont regret it. The ones that I did in place of the films that I rejected also turned out to be good. Sometimes when you have to change the course of your career you have to let go things. Even my friends couldnt imagine me doing comedy and lighter roles like what I did in Tanu Weds Manu, she said. I could have done both The Dirty Picture and Tanu Weds Manu but I chose to do the latter. My decision seemed stupid to many people but I am happy both the films did well. Like I couldnt do Dedh Ishqkiya for Krrish 3...its ok as one cant do everything, she added. Kangana is quite excited about her next release Krrish 3 alongside Hrithik Roshan, Vivek Oberoi and Priyanka Chopra. She plays the role of a cat-woman Kaaya in the movie.
