After again listening to President Obamas recent press conference, he is now willing to make changes to Affordable Care and honorably admitting his own fault. However, he has not yet explained how he intends to address the many individuals that have since lost their insurance as a direct result of Obamacare. The Presidents request for insurance companies to extend individual policies that were canceled further shows his lack of understanding business. Businesses plan months if not years in advance for matters such as these and absolutely are not able to instantly reverse their policies on the drop of a dime. Time is needed to contact the more than five million insured, informing them that their policy is terminated and that they are in the process of reworking the policies. Furthermore this simply does not make any sense, since they are only getting a year reprieved and subsequently must commence the process all over again. This will not be an easy fix for the many troubles which have already been set into motion by some of the irreversible processes and policies of our insurance companies. President Obama needs to either rescind the demands of the insurance companies or continue with his unwise policies. We all will be anxiously awaiting a fix which is equitable. It will be interesting to see if by any chance the President is now open to a bi-partisan solution that will work for everyone. If so, then this debacle may just very well be a blessing in disguise; on the other hand, if not the tensions in Washington will be ever so exasperated.
