After all the rass this week, its still a good life in Belize. Wil Maheia called this morning to invite me on a boat ride up the Sarstoon River to Gracias a Dios Falls. This is the river mentioned in our 1859 Boundary Treaty with Guatemala. ...from the mouth of the River Sarstoon, up the mid channel thereof, to Gracias a Dios Falls... Its a trip Ive always wanted to take. Im glad the Guatemalan issue is front and center on every Belizeans mind, including these fishermen that stopped for a beer at Maracas. Stand up Belize!
