After all the rhetoric and grandstanding, Raja Kejriwal backs down - TopicsExpress

After all the rhetoric and grandstanding, Raja Kejriwal backs down from ‘anarchy!’ Aflatoon has been hearing this nonsense of police reforms and insulating them from political interference, for ages. Where do we stand today? Factually, nowhere! Two police officers have been asked to go ‘on leave’ for two days, because that was a minimum bargain the pretentious leaders of a political party with a king-size hubris would agree upon! An anarchist can lay siege to the capital of the largest democracy because a police officer did not comply with a loutish minister! The media has been smirking about the Khaps in Haryana who still seem stuck in the Stone Age. But is Raja Kejriwal, ironically from Haryana, any different from the Khaps? Going by his despicable act of blindly supporting Somnath Bharti, who should have been sacked for his misdemeanor, it appears not! Mr Sanctimony, Yogendra Yadav, says that “as long as an enquiry is under way, the charged officers should step down” and is presumably assuaged because two officers have been ‘asked to go on leave.’ Applying the same logic, Somnath Bharti should also be ‘sent on leave’ because his role is under the scanner in the FIR lodged against ‘unknown persons’ in the mayhem against the African women and the judicial enquiry ordered by the LG. It is evident that the Government is hand in glove with the hypocritical AAP! Otherwise, why should an FIR not be lodged specifically against Bharti when his role is evident through the footage being played out on TV channels? Therefore, after ridiculing India and demeaning democracy, the moral posturing would now move on to another stage. But rest assured, AAP will never assume responsibility and will keep up its shenanigans on some pretext or the other. The message emanating out of this charade is unambiguous. If you have 100 lumpen louts and the government eyes you as a potential ally, then you can hold governance and people at ransom at your sweet will. But it is high time people start asking questions to the high profile people joining AAP, ostensibly because of the ‘new politics’ it is supposed to indulge in. Do people like Gopinath, Arun Bhatia and their ilk agree with the ‘new politics’ exhibited by Raja Kejriwal and his cohorts? The nation is at a crossroad in its history and needs answers! As one of Aflatoon’s innumerable unreliable sources (he doesn’t have any reliable source) tells him that Raja Kejriwal has refused to grant THE TIMES OF INDIA an interview because they “do not support him.” Support??? Aflatoon thought that in a democracy media is supposed to ask questions and not ‘support’ leaders! Will Raja Kejriwal kindly deny this?? So much so for democracy and AAP’s new politics! By the way, THE TIMES OF INDIA can always interview Aflatoon. After all, like Raja Kejriwal he also does not like to work and has always been a shirker! And to add, Aflatoon is a vagabond and has all the time for interviews. And he will never-ever-never take a Kejri……oops….U-turn!
