After almost 5 months of learning math and trying to deal with a life plan that has been turned upside down, shaken, and seriously questioned, I have to say, Ive learned a lot. First of all, YES, I PASSED. Second, Ive learned that to succeed you need a formula of patience, hard hard work, and a willingness to accept the unexpected and turn it into something better. Third, you will in someway be rewarded if you follow the above formula. So, heres my plan: graduate school will take two years now, maybe a little more, instead of the standard one. But because of this change, Ill be able to accept the GTF position I was offered. I will get to sing in Chamber Choir for another year, which was very unexpected. The last thing lll say is that I had to invest a lot of time and money into one tiny little math test. The question is this worth it? Do I want to be a music teacher THAT bad? crossed my mind all summer. But I made a choice, and the answer is yes, it IS worth it, and I cant wait to finally get back on the road to this goal. Now! Thank you to the numerous people who never stopped believing in me and kept cheering me on, it has meant so much to me!
