After almost a month since the beginning of this whole crazy health scare... Im heading back to work tonight anchoring the 6 and 11pm newscasts. What a bizarre, terrifying, life changing month it has been. For those of you who dont know... I had a life threatening, allergic reaction to an antibiotic. 8 days in the hospital and 2 weeks of recovery at home. I still have some issues (but who doesnt.. Right!) however... Its time to get back to life. I am writing a story about the whole situation and we will post it on our website... Wcvb. probably tomorrow. In the meantime... I wanted to thank all of you for your support and kindness. Thousands of you reached out to me and my family during the last month... Kind words, positive energy... Even prayers. You will never know how important all of it was for me. I hope you know I would do the same for you. Still some recovery left... But Im expecting to be back at full strength in a few weeks.
