After alot of sitting around collecting dust its finally finished off. Dads old bike is back together, bought second hand in the 50s it sat under the house for the last 30 years in pieces. Had frame sand blasted and powder coated in a royal blue and original forks chromed. Original 650c rims rebuilt on 70s era hi-flange deus and campag hubs. Some more modern pieces include the Soma steel sprint bars in classic shape, chrome stem, 70s Durace crank, mks pedals and a san marco regal saddle. A big thanks to Jarrett Wood and the team from Newcastle cycle service for some repairs to the fork and Bruce Masson for help with some parts. Im still yet to convince the wife it would look great hanging on the wall. Might be up for a few casual laps on the crit track.
