After an amazing weekend, I went to pick my son up last night. On the way home at 7 P.m. we see a dog staggering across a busy HWY 20. TRAFFIC was crazy -Busy! No one would stop and it was clear the fella had been hit and needed assistance before he staggered out in the traffic again. We pulled over and got him calm and a Kind family stopped to help us, they saw the whole thing. The man, His wife and young son(7 yrs old) helped me and my kids calm bhutto until we could figure out what to do. Got in touch w the owner . When she arrived she was strong calling his name- Bhutto. We loaded him in the truck for her as she busted out in tears. She thanked us for taking the time to call her and even stoping for him. She said they had just moved to Cville from a farm where he was used to running around and not being leashed up. I guess Im telling the story because, As pet owners ..WE LOVE OUR PETS> I know its hard to watch an animal suffer but even if its in their last moments, we want to be there with them. It means a lot to people if you take the time to see if you can help. Not sure If bhutto made it but he was there with his owner till his end. I still have her number and will call to check on him, but gonna wait a few days. It def made me and my kids love on our pups when we got home.
