After an exhaustive search of the internet, I think I have finally self diagnosed the issue with my right foot thats been plaguing me for a few weeks: Peroneal tendinitis, likely brought on by putting arch supports in all my shoes to help with plantar fasciitis. The good news: PF is healed. Bad news: no running or cycling for me for at least a few weeks while I rehab my right foot and ankle. Good thing Im not training for anything right now! An injury can often be an opportunity to develop other skills and strengths - in this case, Im going to hit the pool for some swimming and aqua-jogging, and also deepen my yoga practice. What do you do when the only option for healing an injury is to limit your use of the body part? Do you rest completely, or find other things to do?
