After being ill with a virus since before Christmas, I was able to go out with Irene today for a treat that she had bought for me long before I was ill. She wouldnt tell me what it was until we arrived downtown at TIFF. It was the Sound of Music movie Singalong. The theatre was filled with lots of people dressed up in various costumes from the movie. As the songs are sung throughout the movie, the words appear on the screen so that everyone can join in. It was fantastic and really cheered me up. You should have seen and heard all the kids, they were fantastic. I had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
