After completing the prototype in TAC, the TAC management told me in no uncertain terms that once the system was ready, they would like the system to be completely managed and controlled by their own people. This was a gentleman agreement. When we started, it was clear that TAC did not know how to build the system. During the next 2 years of architecting the solution, designing the solution, developing the system and then testing & deploying the system, TAC put a huge work force behind our team. This team was totally meek and just followed every instruction of ours. To simplify our lives, we made tools, using which patterns could be duplicated flawlessly and we would not spend too much time on verifying conformance to standards and yet meet the requirement. At the end of the show, we disengaged ourselves and TAC totally took total control of the system. When I went to Thailand, people told me that the Thai people were stupid and did not know anything. I would love to be stupid like the Thai people.
