After decades, Burma holds its first presidential election. Many Burmese living in foreign lands believe that their country will soon be changing and moving towards prosperity. So Xing-hong, who has always wanted do business in his hometown, decides to return. When he arrives, he discovers that many young people want to leave Burma. And he himself has been away from Burma for too long, for his country seems unfamiliar and distant. Through Xing-hong’s eyes, we witness the changes Burma is going through and the true state of its people.
