After five days home my body started missing the UW Medical center. I will say I think we learned a lesson. Just go Straight to UWMC. My Dr called and said I needed to be seen now. That my local ER would be fine but I needed to go now. My white count had got dangerously low and I needed to be in the hospital. We started at Allenmore. that was a disaster. it would be a 3-4 hour wait and no there was nothing we could do to protect me from all the germs. Decided to leave there and go to St. Joes. I do not particularly like them and have had some bad experiences there but they could get me back within a hour. Other then the triage nurse I was there 6hours and no one took my temp or my blood pressure. I saw a Dr for three min. It was decided that I was too complicated so I was being taken via ambulance to UWMC. Now I love the UW but here is the funny part. the internist that I worked with while I was in the hospital with pneumonia came and saw me at eight. Said home was the safest place for me. It was a overanxious student who had me come in. So you got it. I left by noon. But first they shot me with Neupogen. Am let me tell you they do not cover the side effects. Or yes she may have said them under her breath as she was leaving. By 5pm last night I was crying. the pain in my long bones is anything but mild. My head thinks it is going to explode and my lower spine is trying to attach itself to my legs. I was finally able to sleep but i guarantee will call the dr. today.
