After formation of the Gurmat Parchar Sanstha,Nagpur the first effort was to enroll childrens with ages 6 to 12 in a government school for education. Younger children were admitted to a school for basic education. The children were provided school dresses and their tuition fee was paid by GPS,Nagpur. Arrangements for their basic health care needs, including free medications were also made.The networking between British sikh council and GPS,Nagpur which moving the Sikligar families from jhuggies to pucca houses and providing education to their childrens. Efforts are on to improve their education standards first.... For education in schools as initially we had admitted a large number of children in private schools, hoping for a bright future for all of them. If Anybody want to help these Childrens on a normal cost for education in India incurred on each childs education is Rs.4500/- per annum.like As we also provided it for our childrens,i think this is our moral duty to also help these childrens just like our, These expenses include those on school fees, bags, uniform including shoes, books, copies. We appeal to ALL to come forward and sponsor the education of these Sikligar Sikh childrens who not so long ago were living far away from the eyes of our PANTH.
