After getting kicked out in Nebraska I was really low on energy and so instead of hitching tried to walk down the highway where I was quickly picked up by the police there and given a warning and told to go back to the onramp. Where about 10 minutes later I got picked up by a wonderful Muslim man named Allami who owns a smoke shop in Utah but was traveling for business. He got me 400 miles down the road to Iowa where he dropped me off and bought me some lunch. Luckily in Iowa it is legal to walk on the highway so I Just started hoofing it and got about 4 miles then sat down to take a break, that is when a friendly trucker stopped and picked me up taking me for 2 days very close to Chicago. He asked another trucker to take me to where I needed to go but he went the wrong way on the highway and dropped me off in south Chicago which is a pretty bad part of town. I ran into some fellow travelers seeking cover from the rain and they advised me to take the train into the city. I was out of money but the first person I asked for change to get on the train just gave me a train ticket instead. That is where I met a lovely lady names Eva who just helped escort me to the library so I could get online and tell you all this amazing story. Now I am just waiting for Connor Sinclair to pick me up so I can hang it his place for a day or so, get a shower and some laundry done, then I am heading back home to jersey. Holy shit it has been an amazing trip.
