After going out and meeting up With a young man who reported some activity around Beerwah. We got to the site and began our investigation After about 10 minutes we heard something on the other side of the creek moving about the bush. It wasnt possible to get to the other side. It was about average to large size and we got a glimpse of something darkish in colour. We are not sure if it was our hairy friend or it could have been a wild pig!. We continued searching and found a few signs that a possible Yowie may have been in the area at sometime. We think the area where we found the evidence is being used as a corridor by our hairy friend. We dont think he hangs around this area for a great deal of time. The gentleman that reported this area did a great job we found a print of 40cm and some claw marks about 8-10ft high in a tree as well as other data We will continue to monitor this area in the near future and in the meantime we will continue to hunt for more data on our friend the Hairy Man Have a great night everyone SCYR
