After having a really nice evening at The Lock pub at the bike night. Things started to get weird just before I left; 2 old (like old enough to be my gran!) came up to me and my friends asking about their bike and saying they were doing a telephone marketing for Triumph, and suddenly added Ducati, BMW and Harley-Davidson (yeah, probably after seeing my jacket!). The conversation got dodgier cos they were asking for our numbers and the model of the bike. They were only interested in bikes that were at least 2 years old and also kept saying Were not supposed to be telling you this, but... So obviously they were dodgy! I just want people to be aware of this as they are now probably going to be going around to other bike evenings and making people fall for this joke! They had fake limited ID with years old photos! I should have reported them! I really wanted to say something to them but they were sure patronising me saying Im too small and female to be a biker and that I probably only ride in the summer! Hah, well love, you obviously dont know me and I dont want you to know me or my bike, so piss off! I really want people to spread this as there has been an awful lot of motorcycles being stolen lately!!
