After having been an official for multiple sports for almost 20 years this is what I have realized. Judgement is something an official needs to exercise in a millisecond. With todays technology everyone can be a critic with super slow mo hi def replay. But being in the moment having to make a split second decision in real time is not as easy as it seems. However we are human and that is why instant replay has creeped into professional sports. Having said that I do have a biased opinion of the play at third, but it is what it is and its only 2-1 and the series is far from over .... Go Sox!
