After having had the chance to think about that incredible 3 OT Stanley Cup Finals hockey game we saw last night it occurred to me that seeing my home team the Sharks in their hapless playoff efforts this year and in seasons past, have NEVER even come close to displaying the toughness, intensity and precision we watched those two teams play with last night. Have you ever seen the Sharks play like that? EVER? If the Sharks ever hope to go anywhere in the playoffs, much less play for a championship, they better re-think another year of diminishing returns with Thorton and Marleau and try something different.
