After hours of deep contemplation this morning, I have decided that the future of photography is no longer in a dSLR. They are relics of the past that only hold us back as artists. Anyone can take a good picture with a dSLR, but that doesn’t challenge you to create masterful pieces of work. Cell phone cameras and filter apps are the real future of photography. A real artist can take a picture with any tool they have and doesn’t need to hide behind thousands of dollars of equipment. So I am going to be giving away all of my camera gear and instead start concentrating on taking really neat photos with my iphone. I hope you all love my first “professional” cell phone photograph. I think it might be my best work yet.
